Laser Micro Cutting

Laser Micro Cutting

Laser micro cutting is a high-precision manufacturing process that uses a very focused laser beam to cut extremely small and detailed shapes in materials such as gold, stainless steel, titanium, copper, plastics, and ceramics.

It is widely used in jewellery making, electronics, medical devices, and micro-engineering.

  • A high-energy laser beam is generated by the laser source.
  • The beam is focused through a special lens into a very tiny spot.
  • The laser melts or vaporizes the material exactly at that point.
  • Computer software moves the beam to create very precise micro-cuts
